Want to be a part of a dynamic and growing non-profit that’s making a difference in the lives of vulnerable youth?  We’re looking for an accountant to join our volunteer organization, comprised of professionals with full-time careers who enjoy giving back to our cause.

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include bookkeeping for our fund-raising operations in the US and our service organization in Rwanda serving vulnerable children.  You’ll also provide monthly financial reports to our board of directors and prepare financial statements for our annual report and auditor.  Expect to spend about 4-8 hours of time per month non-quarter ending and 15-20 quarter end.

Qualifications:

• Work experience as an accountant or bookkeeper
• Knowledge or Excel, Quickbooks a plus
• Bachelors in accounting, finance or relevant degree
• Volunteer commitment of at least 1 year
